After a lot of head breaking, we have finally decided a name for baby.
My first choice was Nikhil and George's was Rohan. We also liked Ashish and Rohit. George did'nt want Nikhil, as it was his boss's name, and he said, when he heard the name, only his boss’s face came to mind and not the baby’s ; and i didnt like Rohan.
Then came Abhinav Bindra, who won India’s only at the Olympics. We thought, OK lets name him Abhinav, after Bhindra, who won the gold the year baby was born. When we checked out the meaning of the name, coincidentally both Tarun and Abhinav mean young. So, finally baby has a name, Abhinav Angayil George.

hahaha! I like how finally came up with the name. So Abhinav (Bhindra) George it is!:)
Tell us how Tarun is coping? Is he thrilled about his little brother or mildly jealous?
Abhinav from Abhinav bhindra. Good choice and such a nice co-incidence that both mean the same.
news i read on TOI:
A lot of bihari baby girls born around this time are named kosi, after the river which flooded.
somehow this came to mind when i read the post.
Congratulations! Abhinav is a handsome lad. I am very happy for you.

Thanks..tarun is kind of jealous. he keeps kissing the baby and suddenly..hits it.. then i yell and the drama goes on..
Thanks Abe and Theresa :)
Hmm, Abhinav's the name... Good, you have your son named after India's first gold medalist, let's see whether this Abhinav will win another gold medal let's say at the 2028 olympics :-)
Truly, a golden name indeed :-)
